What is SmartMLS Tax?

The SmartMLS Tax system is a comprehensive, customizable and user-friendly public records system that brings information that was once spread over multiple systems into one dynamic program. SmartMLS Tax is powered by CRS, a market-leading data company whose mission is discovering, developing and delivering innovative data-driven solutions.

There are several different ways to access our SmartMLS Tax system: 

1. There is a SmartMLS Tax tile on the SmartMLS Member Dashboard (the screen that comes up after you go to www.smartmls.com and log in with your user name and password): 
                       
   
                                           
   
    
2. If you are logged into the connectMLS system, you can access SmartMLS Tax from the Tax icon  in the upper right corner:
   
   
   
    
3. It is also available from the Tools, Resources & Links widget on the connectMLS home page:
                                   
   
   
   
   
   If you are viewing a listing in the Full Detail report, you can access SmartMLS Tax by going to Additional Info and clicking Tax Record, SmartTax CMA or CRS Quick CMA:
                                           
   
   
   Technically, clicking SmartTax CMA brings you to a CMA report for the selected property. At that point, however, you are within the SmartMLS Tax program, and can easily click the Home link in the upper left to get to the SmartMLS Tax home page. From there, you can access previous tax records you have viewed, run a search against the public records database and much more.
