Access an existing CMA

 

If you have created a CMA for a property in SmartMLS Tax and would like to access it, start off by opening the property report for that address. The easiest way to pull it up is either enter the address in the search bar or look in your Recent Properties section:

Once you are viewing the property report, click the Comparables menu in the top center, then go to CMA & Client Report:

Once the CMA & Client Report opens, go up towards the top right and click Create Report:

That will open a screen that provides access to all of your existing CMA reports:

You have several options from this screen:

  1. Click the address link to open the property report for that parcel.
  2. If you have not yet attached a client to a CMA, click the Add Client button.
  3. Click Edit to make changes to the CMA. Not everything within an existing CMA is editable. Click here for an article that covers the types of edits you can make once a CMA is saved.
  4. View allows you to take a look at the finished CMA report.
  5. Email lets you send the CMA via email.
  6. Save a local copy of the CMA by clicking the icon in the Download column. A PDF version of the report will be placed in your computer's Downloads folder.
  7. The Expires column shows you the CMA report's expiration date. All CMAs expire and will be removed when they have not been edited within the last 6 months. If you make edits to an existing CMA and save the CMA again, it resets the clock for another 6 months. 
    Note: the date in the Expires column does not immediately update after you click Save Report. However, the next time you go back to your list of CMAs, the expiration date should update and be six months in the future.
  8. Click the X in the Remove column to delete the CMA completely. This is a permanent action that cannot be undone.
